"Let's spend some time together," Ruby said to Danny as he emerged from the shower.
"Hm?"
"You look lonely," Ruby said simply and smiled, patting a space on the bed beside her.
Danny snuggled next to his sister and sighed.
"Does it get easier?" he asked.
"No," Ruby said plainly. "But it gets better."
And they just held each other.
